April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month

Each year during Sexual Assault Awareness Month in April, STTARS staff participate in several awareness events along with their colleagues from across the SPHS, including the SAAM Day of Action as well as Denim Day. These events help to raise awareness of the issue of sexual assault and show support for survivors.

A Little Hope & Healing

In November of 2020, the STTARS Program hosted a virtual evening of Hope & Healing with Dove award winning music artist, Nichole Nordeman. The purpose of thie event was to bring the spirit of hope to those who struggle to feel connected and support survivors in their journey to not just survive, but to thrive!

Protin Podcast

In July of 2022, STTARS staff, along with partners from the Washington County Human Trafficking Taskforce, participated in a discussion about Human Trafficking, Victim Needs, and Local Resources on the Protin Podcast.
